Annena Sorenson-JWIC, is one of the most respected and sought after wedding and event planners on the West Coast, with an award winning production company in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Ms. Sorenson is a certified, professional consultant, having planned and designed 100's of celebrations in San Francisco and at homes and distinctive settings throughout California. She has also planned international conferences around the country for the event and wedding industry.

Described by industry leaders as being "multi-talented, calm and collected, extremely well organized, and never phased event in the trickiest of situations"--her clients say, "she always has the perfect solution".

Notable events have included weddings and private parties for "celebrity" families in the tech and engineering world--including the Hewlett, Packard, and Bechtel families. Her company also produced the wedding of professional basketball star and 2- time gold medal winner, Jason Kidd.

In 2009 she produced the Spring Design Showcase for Spruce Restaurant in San Francisco headed by celebrated chef Mark Sullivan who recently opened the new Spruce at the Waldorf Astoria in Park City, Utah.
After completing her formal training in interior design and art, Ms. Sorenson went on to study food and catering under Martha Stewart, Italian Chef Giuliano Bugialli and at Tante Marie's Cooking School in San Francisco. Further development of her passion for food and entertaining continued in her travels through France and Italy.

Prior to her event planning career, she owned the successful catering business, By Invitation Only, drawing on her art background for her "spectacular buffet designs".

Her experience in the culinary arts and business combined with her knowledge of color, lighting, and space planning offers a unique skill set that she uses to continue her passion for the "Art of Celebration".
